About the Role
Fortune Writers Inc. is hiring a remote Content Writer with expertise in various topics. You’ll be a part of our storytelling and branding efforts, working closely with our team to enhance our content. We’re looking for a writer who not only excels in words but also possesses a strategic mindset.
Roles & Responsibilities
Content Development:
- Create and edit clear, compelling written content across platforms.
- Ensure content aligns with client objectives and brand guidelines.
Strategy and Planning:
- Contribute to content strategy development and planning.
- Optimize content for SEO and stay updated on market trends.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with design, marketing, and project management teams for content cohesiveness and timeliness.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough research and fact-checking for accurate, reliable content.
- Review and revise content to maintain quality and accuracy.
Client Interaction:
- Occasionally communicate with clients to understand their content needs and receive feedback.
Analytics:
- Work with the analytics team to assess content effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.
Requirements:
Educational & Professional:
- Preferred but not required: Degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or related field.
- Preferred but not required: 2 years of content writing experience, preferably in an agency.
Skills:
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong command of English.
- Proficiency in SEO principles and tools.
- Adaptability to different writing tones and platforms.
Personal Qualities:
- Strong critical thinking and strategic skills.
- Excellent research, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Technical Proficiency:
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
